Welcome!

Worship Every Sunday @ 10 am

In addition to our in person worship, you can also find us on Facebook at 10 am for a live broadcast of our Sunday worship

Our address is 2803 First Street, Wyandotte, MI 48192 (corner of First and Chestnut).  There is some parking in front of the church on First Street, and there is a municipal parking lot just across Chestnut Street from the church.

If you're looking for a church home where you can experience God in worship, make new friends, and help the community, we invite you to explore this site and, if you choose, to come for worship some Sunday or for one of our programs described below. You are welcome, whether you are new to faith or have been in church all your life, full of doubt or firm in your faith, young or old, rich or poor, LGBTQ or straight, trans or cis, full of joy or consumed by sorrow. Whoever you are and wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here.

You can read more about what we believe and who we are here. If you're curious about what worship is like in an Episcopal Church, you can find out more here. A quick note for people with allergies or asthma - we don't use incense, and our candles are oil-filled, which produces less smoke.  Our building is completely wheelchair accessible.  All of our restrooms are gender inclusive.

Who Are We?

Spirit filled, Biblically based preaching! Every Sunday, we hear a reading from the Hebrew Scriptures, a Psalm, a passage from the New Testament, and some Good News (the Gospel). Our preaching centers on what God is saying through these ancient texts to us today. You'll hear words that you can use!

Helping families connect and worship. We have kids activities during church each Sunday, led by our Safe Church certified volunteers. Kids are also welcome to stay with parents - your choice! We also have family events and special programming for different age groups

Welcoming everyone. We are gay and straight, trans and cis. We have many different gender expressions and understandings. Everyone is welcome, and everyone is included, in all the sacraments and in leadership. Our families and individuals reflect the diversity of God's creation

Feeding people every single day. We have a Blessings Box outdoors, so food is available 24/7! Take what you need, or leave non-perishable items for others. Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10 am - 3 pm. If you live Downriver and need help, call us at 734-284-8777

What's Happening?

St. Stephen's welcomes everyone. We embrace ancient traditions and progressive values. Come and see!
